You'll not only learn German you'll live in Germany. For participants of our courses for Young People 18+ and our courses for Adults and Business People International House offers different types of accommodation:
| In addition to language training, accommodation is a key part of your
stay. That is why we recommend staying with one of our carefully
selected host families. We recommend this option to our students who wish to live in a more
German environment and practise the language. Students eat with the
family and thus participate more directly in a German environment. |

For our long term courses (TRIMESTER Courses and TRIMESTER Summer Courses) we also offer accommodation in the ih Residence (single rooms with private bathroom) or in the ih Apartments (single and double rooms). We recommend this option for those students who wish to be more
independent and share an international environment together with their
classmates of different nationalities.

| If you prefer to be completely independent, we will book a hotel room
or an apartment for you. We work together with a few selected Hotels
and can offer favorable rates. |

For juniors and teenagers we offer host families, Residence
"Jugendgästehaus" or Residence "Hotel Stadt Freiburg"
